Marcus Warhurst

Remedial Massage Therapist & Allied Health Assistant

Marcus graduated with a Bachelor of Sports and Exercise Science from Victoria University in December 2020 and completed a Diploma of Remedial Massage at VU Polytechnic in June 2022.

He has gained immense practical experience in strength and conditioning and functional movement through several short-term internships –

• Ace Performance in North Melbourne and was responsible for taking athletes through their programs and progressing them accordingly
• Completed Dr. Daniel Kirkbride’s Functional Movement & Medicine training focussing on the principles of rehabilitation and performance
• Vast sports trainer experience over with Footscray Rugby Club, Fitzroy Football Club, Williamstown Football Club VFLW, National Touch Football Championships and the AFL Multicultural Cup gaining skills in sports taping, massage and injury management
• VU student massage clinic treating 150 clients over the life of his course

Marcus has a strong passion for cricket and currently plays for the Flemington Gulls Cricket Club (having grown up in Southwest Victoria and playing for the Killarney Cricket Club for 16 years).
